S A L O N -LONDON hosts an ongoing series of events, which move through various artistic, private, and cultural spaces across London. In time, SALON - LONDON may visit New York, Montreal, and other North American cities. The events vary in form and include readings; performances; pop-up events; discussion and networking evening; and dinners and conversations with experimental women writers and feminists theorists. Photography, vlogs, and blogs inspired by events and transcriptions of conversations may be featured on the SALON - LONDON website.
A collaborative project, S A L O N - LONDON was founded in 2017 by Directors Dr Georgina Colby (University of Westminster) and Professor Susan Rudy (Queen Mary University of London). S A L O N – LONDON is hosted collaboratively by the Institute of Modern and Contemporary Culture at the University of Westminster and the Centre for Poetry at Queen Mary University of London.
